90043e7df0 Replace write -atomic with write -method <method> 
`-atomic` becomes `-method replace` and `-method overwrite` is now
supported explicitely instead of only available through the
writemethod option.

2cd323b314 Allow quiting last client with unsaved buffer in daemon mode 
Because the server will out-live that client's disconnection it
is still ok to have modified buffers, the server will complain
on `kill`.

47ba36c66e Add a RegisterModified hook 
This one has been a long time coming, I am still concerned this could
impact performance a lot. This hook does *not* trigger for capture
registers (0-9) or any other dynamic registers (that are not writable).

c010f14a7c Fix +line:col initial buffer position when connecting to session 
A command line argument like +line[:column] can be used to specify a
target line and column for the first file.

This did not work when connecting to a session, because the client
opens its file parameter with `-e "edit file1; edit file2"` which is
executed after the initial buffer position is set. Work around this by
passing the position to the first file and avoid moving the cursor
in unrelated files.

Reproduce:

	kak -s foo
	kak -c foo +4:11 README.asciidoc

07d702e419 src: Fix a compilation bug with g++-8 
The Ubuntu Disco distribution comes with `g++` v8 installed by default,
which is not able to deduce the return type of a particular call to
`transform()`.

This commit explicitly declares the return type to mitigate that
problem, and allow the file to compile.

1ebab6c269 src: Show the startup information in no-load mode 
This commit allows the changelog to be shown at startup even when
the editor was run with the -n flag.

144380de8c Fix version comparison in show_startup_info. 
The description of startup_info_version in the manual says "only messages
relating to a Kakoune version greater than this value will be displayed,"
but showed messages relating to the version equal to that value.

This change aligns the code with the manual and makes a workaround that set
startup_info_version next to the original version (ex. 20200117) unnecessary.

ba621dedd6 Ignore SIGTTOU 
We can get this signal while suspending if a parent process (say
git-commit) has already put us in the background. We still need
to reset the termios state to exit raw input mode and make the shell
usable.

2359df0f17 Make scrolling speed configurable 
The UI now can send a 'Scroll' key, whose value is the scrolling
amount encoded as a signed integer. This replaces the MouseWheelUp
and MouseWheelDown keys.

The NCursesUI now has a ncurses_wheel_scroll_amount ui_option that
controls that amount, it can be negative to swap scrolling direction.

4dae2c875b Introduce a writemethod option to either overwrite or replace files 
This permit to choose if files should be written by overwriting their
content (the default), or by writing to a separate temporary file
and rename it to the current file.

64f1c31401 Refactor parsing of keys and introduce a builtin key parser mode 
By setting the ncurses_builtin_key_parser ui_option to true, we
can disable ncurses parsing of key strokes to get less portable
parsing but support for more complex modifiers.

b897a18aa6 Use a dummy function for SIGPIPE instead of SIG_IGN 
SIG_IGN is inherited after 'execve' and requires us to reset
that signal handler, which does not work well with vfork on
OSX. Using an empty function does the trick and will be auto
reset to default on exec.

27163106c7 Make register expansions expand to the full register content 
Now that we have a nice standard way to express lists of strings,
registers can be fully exposed. An new $kak_main_reg_... env var
was added to provide the previous behaviour which is relied on by
doc.kak.

ec16969609 Do not reparse %sh{...} strings 
Automatic reparsing of %sh{...}, while convenient in many cases,
can be surprising as well, and can lead to security problems:

'echo %sh{ printf "foo\necho bar" }' runs 'echo foo', then 'echo bar'.
we make this danger explicit, and we fix the 'nop %sh{...}' pattern.

To reparse %sh{...} strings, they can be passed to evaluate-commands,
which has been fixed to work in every cases where %sh{...} reparsing
was used..

4ef5c80724 Fix Kakoune client busy looping on SIGHUP 
Pure clients never quitted when they got SIGHUP after recent changes
to add is_ok to UserInterface. run_client now tracks the UI state as
well and quits if the UI gets killed.
